Regarding rare coins.Sothebys held an auction at the end of last month consisting of A major Texan collection. .One piece, a 1907 proof high relief Saint Gaudens with an estimate of 40 to 60 k made 115k.Many other pieces went for above estimates. It was an exeptional collection that attracted a large number of serious bidders.I take it as a good sign for gold.
