George, it might be worth an effort to put this in context.

Dyax also holds IP which is 'fundamental' to the practice of phage display. It has fifty or so licensees.
Even assuming Xoma's IP is as fundamental as it claims - & there clearly had been less of a rush to sign up than DYAX has experienced - if they get too greedy, there could always be the possibility (as I understand it, & FWIW...) of running with Crucell's PER.C6(TM) cell line.

Bottom line, I'm not going to get over excited.
