Hi Dan,
Yes, I think that's a reasonable commish charge, and makes it possible to short term trade the Q opt's ....

BTW..you said you can select the exchange, that's a nice idea, is there a way to "see" the price of a option on different exchanges? inorder to select the best price, I use QCharts and only see one price.
