I'd rate the odds of a 30% rise from here at 0-5%. The odds of a 30% drop are between above 50/50, and closer to 100% imo. I'll take your bet. 1330 is 30% down from today's highs. Your # is 2414 which is 30% up from today's lows. I'll bet you a round of golf and dinner.

Now, on the the next question. Yes, even if there is still a 10% rise left in the Naz you should be out to protect from the bigger downturn. Not necessarily short, but not long.
