I just got word that our server is back up and running perfectly, and zero data lost! Our tech wizard somehow found a way to retrieve ALL the files that were infected by the worm.

Five days of Major Hassle with Mental Anguish, and I know for a fact that if we did not have a friggin' wizard working on it, we would have been way, way screwed, because he was literally jumping up and down when he finally fixed everything with no data loss. I think the main thing that was motivating him is he did not want to rewrite the code I thought we had lost. This site we are working on is hard enough without having to write code twice.

Dish is no good for me, it goes down whenever it rains. DSL is not great for me because I don't live close enough to the feed. Once we have the revenues, we'll just get a T-1 I think.
