Re: "Let the man speak. The liberals shut everyone down." It is important for all voices to be heard ... all the time. I have no use for people, either right or left, who wish to silence opposing viewpoints. Berkeley can be a tough place to present certain viewpoints, as Harold Bloom discovered when he was lambasted for his view of the world's great fiction, of all things. I heard a most disturbing comment on Bill O'Reilly's nightly "rage show." He agreed with some media watchdog guest that only "constructive criticism" of our war-on-terrorism effort should be permitted. What a frightening proposition.
