Dow +161, Nasdaq +48, S&P +18.97 : [BRIEFING.COM] It's still early in the day, but thus far, the market's performance has been very impressive... Leadership is solid, volume is good, and participation is broad-based... Overall, the action has been pretty lopsided as selling efforts have been stymied almost as quickly as they have begun... The interest rate cuts by the ECB and the BoE have been an effective follow-up to the Fed's easing action on Tuesday as they are driving the market's expectation that credible signs of a global economic recovery will be seen by no later than the middle of next year... At the moment, 25 of the Dow's 30 components are showing a gain... United Technologies (UTX +1.85), Microsoft (MSFT +1.57), Wal-Mart (WMT +1.57), 3M (MMM +1.55), American Express (AXP +1.51), and Caterpillar (CAT +1.44) are leading the advance, underscoring the broad-based nature of today's gains...
