Called my broker. She says Pembina's new issue was sold
out at 6:35,five minutes after the market opened here
on the west coast. A stock often drops back after an
issuingof new shares. If it drops back enough to cover
the cost of the broker's fee, then it makes no difference.
Works out the same. She says utility stocks, pipelines
seem to be fairly valued. However, a report I read said
Pembina has the most upside of all the pipeline stocks
so as a hold for the next couple of years, it could give
a nice capital gain while paying a reasonable distribution.
I'll watch to see if it dips and, if it does, add to my
position.
