Well you might be closer than lucretious who called the top 5 weeks ago based on one of my posts -lol- here is something for bearish traders to ponder, the rydex traders during the whole whopper of a slide from sept 00 to march 01 never gave the leveraged bear funds a bid (not until about two trading sessions of the bottom on april 4), but on every rally they loaded up big time on leveraged bull funds. Now we have a completely different situation, since mid-late august they been bidding the leverage bear funds heavily, and they still are even after this big rally, also tops have usually come when rydex nova is least 25-50% higher than ursa Message 16625641

And as far as bears being genius since april 00, there are only a few off those geniuses around, like James Dines who followed the tech rally all the way up and correctly turned bearish in sept 00, none of the people on CFZ warrant any of that label, most of them have been bearish from levels below the 9/28/01 lows and have been on bear rants from the inception of SI.
