Geeze, on that Dow chart I posted this morning, I didn't think that target would get hit in one day! -g/ng I hope we get some bear capitulation today.

With the stochastic setting I use, (8(3), on the weekly we have a new high and the SOX is now as overbought as it was in March of 2000!

The last time the NASDAQ was this overbought was July of 2000.

There are other reasons to see its run as over for a spell. Put a fork in it. Might go another few percent, but that'll be it.

I have posted from time to time the most bullish formation I track -- the giant bullish wedge on QCOM. (Use a weekly to view it.) It dates back to January of 200 and it is a thing of great beauty. The bullish argument says it projects a breakout of monster proportions. We are pushing the top of that wedge now for the third time. This must be watched very closely now.

Gotta run for an hour and a half or so -- taking the boat out of the water today. Later...
