I realize we are in complete agreement on the Oden business. My comments, including the genteel wand-up-my-arse one, made that pretty clear! (The article you posted did, as I noted, raise her original contention as at least a possibility. Until then, I had discounted her story entirely.) This is what I wanted to know, though, and you didn't acknowledge the question. Is it because you feel X's crack in this post was an un-nasty expression of an honest puzzlement about my position vis a vis freedom of expression? Rambi, do you believe my devotion to freedom of expression has ever been ambiguous? I'm wonder if you think X's shocking (to me), nasty personal crack to me on that subject was justified or capricious?
