The odds are pretty good. Embedded in general is more and more pervasive. Now my interest is more on the level of handhelds and smaller, so I really like XScale and StrongArm, but there is a much wider base to embedded. Considering most of the companies that have taken licenses, embedded will be a big area. True, many of them will be for other than AMD processors, but there will be applications where extremely high processing power and/or x86 compatibility will be important.
