I just covered my second INTC load. The futures keep thrusting up and down. It's tough to trade this, I have to say. I made enough for a 6-pack of Bordeaux. Not much!

So I guess we don't have to sit here in amazement any longer....reality finally set in. I left for a meeting in the early afternoon and cannot believe my eyes... Something I had never thought of occurred to me while driving, away from my monitor for the first time in days <g> Margin calls. When shorts are squeezed and get margin calls what do they have to do? BUY. So maybe that is why this market kept rising and felt so artificially inflated. Margin calls on short positions that were run over by that freight train gone wild. Could be a small part of it. It's not something we would have seen in years, It's only been longs who have dealt with them since the bubble burst.
