You must have misunderstood Jerry here. Dirk said earlier that AMD already has working samples of Thoroughbred (0.13 micron Palomino) and that they plan to ship engineering samples to OEM customers this quarter. Production shipments will start in Q1, targeting mobiles first. Desktop will follow in Q2.

I didn't misunderstand. I'm referring to the question to Sanders, about 0.13 micron, and AMD is "in production" aren't they? Jery said no production yet, they're working on it, first silicon this quarter. Did you listen to it? I did.

AMD doesn't have first silicon on Clawhammer yet (maybe that's what you mean) but they expect to get it this quarter.

They haven't even finished tapeout yet of any Hammer.

Re: ". Also it's disappointing that flash is doing so poorly while other flash manufacturers (e.g. SSTI) see growth this quarter."

Backlash on AMD for suing their customers?
