AD,

I completely agree that the recovery will be tepid compared with previous cycles, since we will be in a secular bear market. But I do not agree that we need a major app driver. Moore's law inexorably assures a plethora of evolutionary new apps every day. I think $28-30 is wishful thinking this time of year when tech is traditionally strongest. I've shorted AMAT in the past but would not do do now. But your trading instincts are better than mine. Good luck.
