BAsed on that specious reasoning, South Americans of Indian descent should pursue class action lawsuits against Spain for wiping out the civilizations of their Mayan and Incan forebears. Our country was part of England "hundreds of years ago". Let those who have an issue with slavery, which hasn't existed in over 100 years, go after those who brought it with them to this country, the Brits. Egypt is the ostensible cradle of civilization, let's all get reparations from them for whatever it is that is bothering us because of something that happened before our collective ancestors were raising wheat and sheep.
