It appears there are indications that sector business is improving slightly. A few SCE cos have noted new orders here and there. Foundry cos have shown some selective minimal increases. Folks appear to be establishing positions in anticipation of the next up-cycle and out of fear of missing what may be the bottom. I'm not buying it. It seems reasonable to me to be seeing some improvement at this time due to the holiday season. This was to be expected IMO, but does not mean we're out of the woods yet. AMAT is about to announce earnings. I look forward to hearing what they have to say about the near-term outlook. I don't believe it will be too bright, in fact, it just may lean toward the dark-side.
