if there are no illegal immigrants to pick vegetables and you want them on your dinner table bad enough i guess the market will bear the wage needed to attract pickers now won't it?

p.s. now we see the real reason neo-libs are pro-immigration. they use the guise of offering freedom to people of oppression by welcoming them into our country when in truth all they advocate is illegal exploitative wages paid to immigrants so they can selfishly have cheap fruits and veggies on their dinner table. of course gaining more immigrant votes and dependencies on govt never hurts either!

Recent immigrants are opposed to open borders, as they know that new imigrants, and commuter immigrants, will take away their low wage jobs by acepting even lower wages.

It's the plantation system of today, Skeeter. The American dream does not exist for these people. What does exist for them is simply a lesser nightmare then they used to live.
