Hey MST, very nice post. I wish I could write as well as you do to get my points across, but what do I know. I am just a hotheaded trader, who has used 10-15 different electronic trading platforms over 20 years. I will tell you this. Someone is going to be checking into Mary. I BELIEVE that she is actually being paid by the companies that she is trashing. By that I mean, she is being paid by the finance companies that provided the toxic funding. They like to see the stock price get clobbered. More stock for them at cheaper prices. More control of the company too. Which makes me wonder? Why would anyone want to control a worthless company? Obviously, eVWAP has value and someone wants to steal it. Mary and her entourage have been employed to destroy the company and it's stock price to help the toxic convert holders gain control. SOUNDS LIKE MANIPULATION TO ME. You know how she used to talk about being in contact with the FBI and SEC. Well I don't think she wasn't lying. I think SHE is the one under investigation, and that's why she is "in contact with" them. Isn't that right Mary? Just asking.......nice theory , huh?

Mary, you are simply an imbecile....you wrote "I am all over the internet"......YEAH you freak!...all my posts are in RESPONSE TO YOU....so who is all over the internet? I own 6 companies right now in my long term portfolio. I see you know 2 of the 6. BPUR and ASTN. The other 4 I have never posted about and never will. I only post on these 2 to refute the BALDFACED LIES being spread.

You are so stupid you can't even figure out what market I trade in or what electronic matching system I am talking about. I bet you will be up all night trying to figure that one out. Good luck. ;^) You will need it. The equity market is miniscul compared to what I'm talking about.

For the rest of the thread: IT IS COMMON PRACTICE AMONG NEW ELECTRONIC TRADING PLATFORMS TO OFFER TRADING FOR FREE OR EVEN TO PAY FOR LIQUIDITY. Think about that. There is no incentive to change the way you (a trader) do business, or move to a new platform unless it is RISKLESS to you the dealer. When a new system comes onto my desk I use it if it costs me nothing. It might take me 6 months to get comfortable with it. If it is any good I will make more transactions through it. Eventually, it may even become indispensable. At that point the company starts charging and I PAY for it. For some systems everyone sits around WAITING to see how it works.....it's like the chicken and the egg...I'll use if I see it work, but it's not working because I'm not using it....so now what? THE COMPANY ACTUALLY PAYS ME TO PUT LIQUIDITY ON THE SYSTEM SO THAT OTHERS CAN SEE IT TRADE!!!! It's the only way to get the ball rolling.

Paying for liquidity or offering free trading for some period of time (sometimes months) is the only way to get some momentum going in order to attract attention. Once that happens the system either stands on it's own merits or it fails......we have yet to see if eVWAP will stand on its own, BUT PEOPLE ARE LOOKING AT IT and they are trying it, at no cost for now. We will know the results soon enough. In less than six months I bet. Till then forget all this crap Mary spouts. Listen to me , A DEALER. I know how systems get marketed. I can't tell you if the market will accept ASTN's system in the end, but I KNOW that they are going about the only way to market it, IMHO, and I believe it will work. That's it for me. I'm done wasting my time here.
