What illusion? You said the audience was stacked with " cops, firefighters and soldiers". To me that implies that you think those people are stupid and easily misled (sort of like democrats)

I doubt that the police, firefighters, and soldiers attended the event to make a PR statement. But, I'm sure that you know better.
