Merely confession of a healing is as ineffective as a tinkling cymbal. But I say that when that confession comes after the belief and prayers and faith have paved the way that great miracles will follow. We can ask ourselves how we can know beyond a shadow of doubt. We can never know that convincingly. That you know that you know. In fact . I do not feel that is God's litmus test. We even hear these sayings. God said it, I believe it and that settles it. What it all boils down to IMHO is relationship with our Father. If my wife goes over to another town to shop and she told me that is where she was going...I'm not the type to check up or doubt she is where she said she would be . I just believe her , I know her , I trust her , same way when she spends our money or takes our daughter somewhere or goes on vacation for a few days without me. As I'm kissing her as she goes out the door I'm thinking......F R E E D O M... I get out the golf clubs, start cooking a few snacks , get out a book or two, some sports or business magazines, check the TV Guide, call a friend or two to come over to watch a good football game... and I enjoy every moment that she is gone...do I love her and enjoy my freedom too, OF COURSE... but I just figure ..make the best of it..!! Should it be any less with God ? If we give our spouses freedom to do what they want to do; Why should we limit God . If we trust our spouses why should we not trust God. Even when we go through the fire I say make the best of it. That to me is passing the greatest test of faith that God can give us .Make the best of it . By showing God this side of our character he will do exceedingly abundant more and more than we ever expected. In Christ.gregor
