Registered doesn't make any difference. It's the same memory chips.

Is glancing at Pricewatch your idea of a scientific way of proving wrong real market research?

If it matters to you, pick up the phone and talk to a Micron or Samsung sales rep, and they'll tell you what I told you. No need to rely on bogus "scientific research".
