Re: 11/9/01 - AP/WFSB: Van Seized in Jovin Murder of Uncertain Value Van Seized in Jovin Murder of Uncertain Value (New Haven-AP) -- A van seized in the murder investigation of a Yale student is turning out to be of uncertain value to investigators. The New Haven Register reported, citing sources, that the van has been in police custody for almost six months. It's believed to be the van seen near where Suzanne Jovin was found stabbed to death, in a wealthy New Haven neighborhood in 1998. Witnesses at the time reported seeing a tan van. It's since been painted white. Police said the occupants of the van were not suspects in Jovin's death, but may have witnessed her killing. No one has been arrested in Jovin's death.
