I think in most wars the civilians suffer terribly. It's just they don't make the news. Take the USA civil war for example. The Shenandoah Valley was stripped of all sources of food that could be of assistance to the South. What everyone else in the Valley was supposed to eat is not mentioned. Now for some good personal news. I can finally take my dog for a walk in the local highlands...It's been a long wait. ananova.com
