I wanted to say that PE's contributions to this thread, which I sometimes found valuable, were overshadowed by his mockery, which I found unacceptable and inconsistent with civilized respectful discourse, unless you are interested in a sadomasochist relationship.

There is a poster over on the Intel thread who is far more abusive than Paul. His posts to his opponents often end with "f**k off and die". (this is a one time thing for me and I will not post this again, I'm only demonstrating the level some people operate on). He is easily dealt with by using the "ignore" feature. I don't care if others want to read his posts because I don't try to control the thoughts of others. Too bad the same spirit doesn't live here.

"Did you notice that she did show up for voting against the ban?"

No, I didn't notice, I should have looked.

Paul can actually carry on a decent discourse. But he all to often prefers to do the things you detail. I personally have an enjoyable time plinking at him, but I freely admit it is a waste of bandwidth. I voted against his banning,
but I also recognize Mani's right to institute such rules since he started the group. He also goes out of his way to be fair, as can be shown with his reluctance to do what Paul so desperately wanted.
