His plan was nothing more than a huge pork give-away. The ones who don't care about hard working tax-payers, like Boeing employees, are the liberal politicians who want to raise taxes and drive jobs out of Washington. You can blame every person in the state if you want. The fact remains that Locke doesn't have the leadership ability to find common ground, and forge the necessary alliances to get the job done. He is a polarizing figure, who's only interesting in scoring political points, instead of fixing the transportation mess. Leadership requires that you work with ALL the voters of the state. Real leaders set a vision in alignment with the majority, and enroll people in the process of change. Gary Locke is not a leader. He's the epitome of a back-slapping limousine liberal, who sucks up to special interest when he needs to in order to get elected. Then, doesn't get a damn thing done for the next 5 years.
