Ali al-Arab?

The Northern Alliance authorities opposed to the Taleban government have deported Ali al-Arab, Al-Jazeera correspondent in northern Afghanistan," the station said. Mr Al-Arab told the TV he had not been given any reasons.

"I have not been given any official or written justification for the deportation. However, I was told the moment I arrived that the Arabs are not welcome in the Northern Alliance areas," he said.
