I'm not sure what to call palindromes, but it probably isn't pleasant.

Let's call palindromes upchucks. Take it (food) in, let it out, over and over..............You're right, not pleasant.

I don't think I will make a hobby of grubbing.

Webster's Handy College Dictionary says this:

grub v.t.
1, dig up by th roots.
2, remove roots, etc., from (land).
-v.i. dig in the ground; hence, toil
-n 1, larva of an insect. 2, (Slang) food.
-grubb'by, adj dirty.

Sounds like hard, dirty work.
