As I see it, AMD desperately needs a successor to Sanders, and there doesn't appear to be one on the payroll now. Ruiz seems like a nice guy, but really lacks charisma or other apparent leadership qualities, and comes across sounding like a line sup at best. The flash guy is non-descript and the marketing guy a bag of wind. Dirk Meyer is obviously an excellent engineering type, but much too soft-spoken for CEO timbre. I'll take Barrett, and someday Otellini any day of the week over anything AMD has."
