Hi Susan and others

One of the main technical indicators I like is the on-balance volume. OBV is said to precede movement in price--hence a very valuable tool in predicting moves in a stock---short and longterm.

Pre computers in late 70's, I handcharted OBV and then identified up and down fields and rising and descending fields. I no longer keep daily OBV numerically on stocks; however, believe it is more valuable than the line graphs included on the computer charts now.

I would like to do this for SGI and will gladly share results. What I need is information such as Don Green posted in message 9559---to compile the info.

Where can I get this info? An alternative, is there a site which already calculates the numerical OBV on a daily basis? If so, I can forgo the calculation, look at the running totals and work on analyzing the fields.

Susan thanks for all your input.
