I worry about the possibility of terrorists roasting a city with a nuke in the future. Maybe not next week but in the next couple of years. It worries me a great deal.

Yes, I did my patriotic duty on Tuesday. I voted and got my flu shot.

People are funny when it comes to risk. Flu shots, seat belts, sun screen--so many easy ways to improve one's chances. Remember the hysteria about Alar on apples? And how does the risk from Lyme Disease and West Nile Fever compare to the risk from anthrax? They are finding infected crows in the neighborhood of the Capital. Fear level has little to do with relative risk.
