A random observation, if you will all indulge me:

On a number of boards I have read "a victory against terrorism" as a reason for another leg of the rally. I concur. What's missing from the boards, however, is any acknowledgement that, God forbid, another terrorist act or a setback in the war happens. While complacency is not evident in put/calls, etc., the assumption that only victory is likely in any given timeframe is a total change from even a month ago.

What does it mean? Probably nothing at all. And believe me when I say that I hope for victories small and large with nary a setback. It's just an observation.

Your second scenario. I favour any down from here being the end of this phase of the decline off of yesterday's top so it would end before the end of the day IMO. Then we correct the entire thing. Not all agree with me here I suspect.-g
