Hi stan, OTOH if all this monetary stimuli doesn't work and work quickly, Yes that's a good point, and I'm watching carefully to see if we are 'turning Japanese'. The only saving grace we have is our immigration whereas Japan shot themselves in the foot by remaining a relatively closed society. Hence the demographic disparity with respect to age. (I don't have the number handy but their population is older as result). I'm wary that we may see a reaction which may severely curtail immigration in the US and Canada as a corollary. I tend to take this stuff for granted as it's pervasive on the doom and gloom threads I hang out on :o) regards Kastel a cute and cuddly Canadian
