Fast Eddy,

I don't blame children for the sins of their parents, never.

(I'm curious why you felt the NEED to stir up the other thread. I'm guessing boredom.)

Fwiw, since yesterday I have been buying and selling slices of the great American dream, the stock market. Bought PTEN and KEG (thanks Quehubo), sold COLM BZH LEN TOL and HI.

Still short NANO and COST, too early on both but we shall see. I've been watching two old favorites, CIMA and NOVN, which sold off on warnings. Autumn is not a good time to deliver the bad news, as their shareholders are finding out.

Lazy, sunny Friday out here in the Pacific Northwest. I hope everyone has a nice weekend.

Howzabout a little stock idea contest just to pass the time. Fast Eddy will keep control of the entries (he's got waaaaaaay too much time on his hands). Pick one stock, long or short, to buy at today's close. For consistency, we deploy $50,000 on the buy or sell. Next Thursday's closing price will determine who's the brightest light on this chandelier.

I'll throw out my entry now:

Short $50k of NANO.

Fwiw, short BRCD was my 2nd choice.
