Vibroni.

Things always appear more dramatic. Some thoughts below.

1) CPQ is undervalued by all standards, Niles says server business alone is worth 8$ per share. Add 2.5$ cash per share plus the storage and the services and the handheld/pc businesses.

2) The financials are sound. The LT debt is absolutely minimal.

3) No indication business is affected anymore than for other techs, i.e. the USPS contract, sunw and emc problems etc.

4) The Packard Foundation which controls more than 10% of the HWP shares will be making a decision when the proxy is released. If the pc business is tracked, hwp will be buying cpq for its cash and server business at a profit. Niles puts the chances at 75% if the pc business is tracked. IMO the foundation is well advised. It may even be buying cpq shares now even though a decision has not been reached.

5)If CF had the guts to become HWP CEO, she surely should have secured their support
