Has anyone pointed out that this entire rally might well be partly explained by a lot of short selling right after September 11 and the subsequent covering from the bottom reached thereafter? It may turn out that the steady decline in the markets were simply interrupted by a shorting/covering episode combined with a panic/recovery by some bulls.

The bear market has got to resume at some point because the values are not there. I am almost as short as I was back in the middle of the summer. By "short" I mean LEAP puts on indexes and BEARX positions. I am short about 25% of my entire net worth.
