You are talking to a guy who doesn't really care what an indicator is, and I certainly don't care much what it means or how it is calcuated. As long as it paints a pretty picture and tells me roughly the same thing, over and over again. Whatever works, and maybe that works. I've just not seen anything reliable with the VIX other than what we've chatted about here...outright extremes and little swings on the BB's. Regards.
