My guess is they covered tons on the 30th and 31st. I wish I had.

New highs likely coming soon but until they are net long the bear grinds on, even if we are in the last part of this leg.

BTW, did you see they are short 100K on the ES mini? That's like 20K of the bigger contract.

That's true, but the SPX commercial shorts increased, including a massive increase
on the commercial short SPX Emini:

Noise imo. They are net shorter. Not so much that I want to get shorter, but I do think they will get more short as/if we climb. They were getting aggressively short NDX, to an *extreme*, until a couple of weeks ago. Looking inside the number can send us in circles.

You're not going to see a divergence between the broad market and the NDX, more than a percent or so as an extreme.
