August,

It's been quite a while since I've looked at the font issue. The size is fine on my work and home computers in both classic and regular SI, so I presume it's an OS/browser issue.

I seem to remember that Scott had published a font change some time back (2-3 months?) and due to complaints it was rolled back. (My memory is fuzzy here so don't hold me to that version of the facts :o)

I'm happy to spend some time looking into this issue and others for the SI community, and I will work to make some nice improvements before this year is out.

I would appreciate everyone's patience while I look into your comments. I know this is a delicate issue, because some of you have been requesting good ideas (or complaining about existing bad ones) for a long time.

Please understand that I can't explain why things haven't been done to date, and I can't investigate/fix every issue at once. (I should note that every bug/issue reported is logged on our intranet.) However, I will look at everything and report my progress (maybe weekly, unless there is some sort of emergency) to one of the SI threads (this or ThinkTank, any opinions?).

Thanks, August.

August, my font size on SI is reasonably large (estimate 16pt), so I am wondering what the issue is. I use IE which has a text size option under the 'view' tab. Mine is set to medium. I also have my display set to 1152 by 864 pixels (which is fairly small), but that is another method to increase the text size on SI.

I guess my point is that you have some personal options to increase the text size.

Cheers,
Phil

Hey Aug,

In the process of coming back, I've lost all my 'shortcuts to the twilight zone...'
