Hi Smart_Money,

The other geezer I'm really seeing get a kick out of life today is David Freeman, Gov. Davis's 75 year old energy czar. Freeman openly announced that he'd do everything he could to help in the creation of a public power entity in San Francisco. The results of that muddled election last Tuesday are still ambiguous. Although the idealistic and perhaps quixotic solar initiative passed there with about 73% of the vote. Since it's only the east side of Ess Eff that can effectively harvest solar energy in the summer due to the fogs, it'll be interesting to see the satellite photos in 20 years or so, with one half of the city in "shades" and the other half still looking like old SF.
