The PC market may begin to grow, but apparently without
any significant presence of Rambus. Have you been lately
at any retail shop? Have you seen _ANY_ rambus-based
PC? I haven't. All P4 boxes say "with XXX MB of SyncDRAM".
I am afraid the next generation will have "...DualDRAM",
but clearly not "RDRAM".

Actually, it is sort of funny, "SyncDRAM", not "SDRAM",
as for AMD-based systems, or P-IIIs. I tend to think
that it was someone' "brilliant" marketing idea, that
maybe "SyncDRAM" will look somewhat better than "SDRAM"
in consumer's eyes...
