I generally don't like the idea of abortion, but this is one of the exceptions that I don't have a problem with. In the case of rape, a woman shouldn't be made to carry the child of her rapist if she doesn't want to. That's like adding insult to injury and abusive to women,IMHO. Sorry, Pope, I disagree with you.

What a distressing piece of news. One would think the Vatican has far better ways to spend its energy at this time in history than in further increasing the suffering of those refugees.

I deplore the Vatican's views on this, but I'd rather keep this thread focused on homeland security.

However, the mailing of anthrax to abortion clinics is definitely a homeland security issue. Regardless of what one feels about abortion, terroristic threats and acts against abortion clinics and workers should not be tolerated.
