Thread - Medtronic has been TV-advertising a defibrillator for home use for the last few days. It looks like it's their Lifepak 12 (at least it's yellow) as it appears on MDT's website under the PhysioControl operating subsidiary. According to DFIB's Survivalink site (which is still operating as www.survivalink.com even though the DFIB-Surv merger is now complete), Survivalink (and hence DFIB) has a product which competes with some of MDT's Lifepak defib line although the Lifepak 12 is not listed. Anybody know if DFIB/Surv has a product that competes with the Lifepak 12? Also, anybody know whether DFIB is supplying parts for MDT's Lifepak series or is DFIB's relationship limited to the wholesaling to MDT of the Powerheart which MDT still is under contract to purchase for a few more months? Just a guess, but I guess the bump in price is due to the military purchase press release. Regards, Harry J. PS - Boy, am I long in this stock.
