Terry, He wrote some great stuff. A lot of crap, too, but some great stuff. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Sometimes a Great Notion were awesome. But his mind was gone before he ever discovered recreational drugs. I'm sorry he died at such a young age. Especially given that it took him a decade to turn out a short story. Salinger is the only slower guy around, but that doesn't bother me because I don't like his stuff all that much. <g>
