The big boyz shouldn't mess with the market. In response to G's 1/2% cut, bb are trying to jacking up the market and boost the confidence of general public. In short term & mid term, yes confidence level and psychology of investors will affect more on the market. However, in long term, stock price follows fundamental strength of economy. bb shouldn't artificially try to boost the market; it will only deepen the valley. Nas should come down to 1200s level to build a solid base camp before moving back up to 2500. I like Q and dia because they are difficult to manipulate. But they are not entirely immune from manip. Mr. G and BB, don't mess with the market. When it needs to fall, it needs to fall. Temporary manipulation of boosting will only prolong the agony. Let the market decide where to go, don't try to help too much.
