Re: copper and copper stocks.

I have been watching these stocks and unless this is a new era the stocks are selling at historical high levels for an economic recession scenario.

I have been scratching my head as to why the commercials are very long the futures contracts. I am obviously missing something. The miners are loosing money with the current copper prices and one would expect production of come off line which should push up prices. We saw last week one the the South American miners announce production cuts, but I also read that there is a large supply of copper in the european warehouses.

Interesting things going on.
