No, no sources, other than that every scientist in the civilized world would agree that such a thing is impossible, give basic human biology and the fact that half the Jewish population of Israel at least is genetically indistinguishable from "Arabs" who are themselves a mix of dozens of different peoples and not a distinct biological or genetic group. Many are descended from Jews, as they acknowledge. Which sources did the Times stand by? There are none cited. Mahnaimi likes to create fantastical stories attributed to unnamed sources.
