SHACK: nice work on the crb!!!
Some thoughts:
1) Worst case, if one went long here thinking we were about to reflate (?hyperinflate), and one was wrong, you could expect about a 50% haircut on a buy and hold position. The upside looks lie a potential double.
2) jimmy Rodgers has a fund (LP?) for commodities.
3) Aus. and Canadian dollars should signal the bull move in CRB, and if they don't, its a head fake, IMO.
4) Could we have massive equity deflation and commodity inflation simultaneously? Has it ever happened? I dont know the answer to that. I do know that if we look around a LOT of smart money is moving out of paper and into commodities (ie Gates/silver, Case/land). But right now we are like a car on ice and the driver is gunning the engine to get off it and what happens if only one tire gets traction...
5) I am thinking of legging in here soon if it appears this is something more than short covering.
