Pravin: Well, it looks like AMD is partnering with UMC (from various reports posted on the web). Here are some specs on UMCs 0.13u, low-k, copper interconnect process:

Should make for some fast processors

I just wish they'd make some with embedded DRAM ;-). A 130nm Tbred with a few megs of eDRAM... That would be one heck of a server / workstation chip.

On the other hand, UMC reportedly has a very good low-power process, so it could be that AMD would attempt to make notebook chips @ UMC.

Didn't UMC used to make the Irongate chipsets for AMD? Or was it TMSC? I thought it was the former.
