Que,
<But the primary trend is up and pten is only trading at ~15 times FEPS>
The trend is definitely up. Earnings trend will definitely be down beginning next quarter. If history is worth following, nearly all stocks decline as earnings decline. PTEN's utilization rate has fallen dramatically and dayrates have done the same. Earnings should take quite a hit. I might start a short position if it hits 23.
Good luck,
Sportsman

Que,

The OSX has had a nice run and is near the upper end support.

The weather patterns are not looking good for energy investors.

Short term and medium term indicators on both NG and oil are both negative.

I would take profits and wait for a better entry point.

The hardest thing to do in investing is nothing, and sometimes that is the best thing to do.
